No cure: Osgood-schlatter's disease leaves a bump on the front of the proximal tibia. Up to 15% of male athletes will have this. After the growth plates close, pain resolves and function should be normal. Treatment is symptomatic including ice after sports, otc nsaids, knee padding as needed, quad stretching, and using pain as a guide for sports.

OS disease: Isnt really a disease. It is an inflammation of the apophysis or growth plate where the patellar tendon attaches at your tibia. If it hurts ice, nsaids, and activity modification should help. When you stop growing it should improve.
