Undigested Pills : It is not unusual that some pills, especially time-release formulations, deposit their contents in the gut and then the residual core may "pass through" as a solid "ghost" capsule. Have ou started ina new medication for your copd? I am not aware of any connection between the two, so this is a stumper, but if you are taking a time-release drug, that is most likely the cause.
