OS disease: Isnt really a disease. It is an inflammation of the apophysis or growth plate where the patellar tendon attaches at your tibia. If it hurts ice, nsaids, and activity modification should help. When you stop growing it should improve. The only you time you would consider casting is if the "bump" on your tibia fractures off.
