A member asked:

Do i have to throw out my contacts if a small stye pops while wearing them? will it re-infect my eye, even after storing the contact in solution?

Probably ok: If you got the contacts out right away, it is probably ok to just clean overnight and re-insert them. On the other hand, one of the nice things about disposable contacts is that you can throw them out and still have fresh ones to put in! i would just toss that one and start fresh when the stye is cleared up.

Maybe: If you are wearing standard disposable lenses, they are fairly inexpensive. Throw out the lens and put in a new pair. If you want to re-use, clean, soak overnight, clean again and soak again, then use.
