42 yr male was on 500mg niacin to boost hdl , sugar levels got high little at borderline, can i continue with niaci, is that reversible?

See your doctor.: One of the potential negatives of Niacin is worsening of blood sugars in diabetics. Niacin may not be the best drug for oyu depending on the whole picture. Hdl is very difficult to raise. Diet and exercise are very helpful and will help your blood sugars as well.
