I saw my foot doctor yesterday and he put a new splint on my foot. when i woke up this morning my toes were black. should i worry?

Call your doctor : Right away or go to the er. Black toes could be a sign of gangrene.

See doctor: Depends on why splint put on . If you hadve a fracture or a sprain this can cause bleeding that can end up in the toes particularly if the foot is left t dangle. If you can still feel your toes gangrene is unlikely since the nerves are the first to be injured by lack of ciculation. First call the doctor who put the splint on and then follow their advice, worse comes to worse go to er.
