Depends on severity: How to deal with hyperglycemia really depends on how severe the problem is. A low glycemic diet & exercise will help, & certain supplements can be helpful such as berberine & cinnamon. It would be useful to know other lab values such as HGB a1c, to tell how high the blood sugar has been over months, & Insulin level to tell how well the Insulin is being used. A healthcare provider can help.
