Vocal chord problem: This could be anything from gastric reflux to a benign or malignant tumor. I recommend you see an ENT specialist if the problem persists fo more than a few weeks.

Get care ASAP: You need to get to an oral surgeon or ENT soon, especially if you are a tobacco user, think cancer as worst-case-scenario reason for not waiting
