Wet Hair Outside: Walking out of the house with wet hair cannot make you sick. If you were developing a cold or upper respiratory infection before you went out, the cold, wet hair may hasten some cold symptoms.

Wet hair: Having wet hair outside is not a cause of illness such as the flu or the common cold. These conditions are caused by the spread of bacteria and viruses. If one were in extreme temperatures and developed hypothermia - that would be a different issue.
