Dr. Oliver Wang answered

Specializes in Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Surgery

Great toe?: If red bump is on the side of your big toe joint, you may be having a gout attack. It can be relieved with warm soaks and antiinflammatories. You can get blood test to check uric acid level in your blood. You can change your diet or see primary for work up and take oral medications.
