Wait.: Doesn't sound like you need oncologist as your tumor has been removed - it was really very tiny. 3 mm? A micro carcinoma. How did one find this? I wonder if this was just an incidental finding. Tumors of this size are not uncommon and their clinical significance is not well understood.

You need to see MD: No, you do not need to see an oncologist- however you do need to see your doctor. If you have to wait for 2 months to see an endocrinologist, then you should go to see either primary care doctor or your ear nose and throat doctor. Based on your blood work- you need to get some thyroid supplement now so you can function better. However if you would like to see an oncologist- it is optional.
