Orthopedic vs. med: If he has no swelling of his right foot, he most likely has an orthopedic problem in the left foot. Stress fracture is one possibility. Keep in mind, though, that Norvasc (amlodipine) can cause (usually painless) swelling in the lower extremities. Although this would normally be expected to affect both sides equally, differences in vein function between the two legs may cause swelling to be one-sided.
