Exam needed: Swelling of both feet with back and torso discomfort warrant an evaluation by a physician. Edema of feet can occur with disorders of the heart, kidneys, liver or veins of the legs. Abnormalities of blood proteins also seen in certain bone marrow disorders are possible causes. Your physician will take a thorough history and system review, perform a complete physical examination and order tests.
