Nasal Spray Risks: Otc sprays (afrin, etc.) are very addicting and should only be used on rare occasions. The prescription steroid sprays can cause crusting, blleding and in rare cases a septal perforation. There may be problems to address directly (sinusitis, allergies, deviated septums, etc.) see an ENT specialists for answers.
