How long can a cluster of cysts stay in the breast? i have had mine for 1.5 years. 3 mammograms & 1 u/s done already & no change in size.

Keep up with mammos: Stable cysts and lumps suggest a good prognosis. If not enlarging or if the cluster of calcifications is not suspicious, careful follow-up is the way to go.. They may never go away.

I'm 53 had breast augmentation 17 years ago. During my yearly mammogram in May 2017 nodules were detected as well as a small cyst in the left 3'oclock measuring 4.5mm. I was told to have routine mammographic follow-up. Told Discovery rules changed.
I had possible bloody nipple discharge, so I had an u/s done today. One breast has 2 8mm complicated cysts. Bc of discharge, dr recommended a mammogram. What are complicated cysts? Why would dr also recommend mam- what can it see that u/s can't?
I form lumps in my breast they are not a mass and one of them is not a cyst they done ultrasound and mammogram but it still scared me what is it?
How accurate would 3 previous ultrasounds and mammograms in the space of 5 years be on a simple breast cyst? Could that diagnosis be wrong?
