Not likely, but: What makes you think you have infected ovaries. In any case pain on sex needs to be evaluated. If you have infection, it needs to be treated asap to prevent complications like abscess, and infertility. Please see your doctor.

Not likely: Cancer is not high on the list of causes. Active infection and scar tissue from previous infection are near the top of the list. Don't settle for ongoing infection. Find out if your infection was not eradicated and, if not, keep pursuing it.
