Pain: you may have one ovary larger then the other and it sounds like you have mittelschmerz (ovulation pain). The larger ovary is usually the one you ovulate from more often. Also, cervical cancer is not a genetic cancer. It is caused by HPV, smoking and some chemical exposures.
