Hamstring autodraft to be opted for my acl reconstruction. age22, male, badminton player.is this method good for me?if yes then why?any good alternate?

Autograft: I believe hamstring autograft is an excellent option for this age group. Very low failure rates, no incidence of disease transmission and excellent stability if the procedure is done appropriately.

Acl: Yes this is a good graft. Other autografts use are the patella tendon and quad tendon. In addition allografts or donor grafts can be used but you would have to be confident and knowledgeable about the tissue banks in india. The hamstring autograft will work fine and there should be less anterior knee pain which may be beneficial in badminton.
