A member asked:

Is szhizoprenic can still work? is it going to get worse over time. can prayer of the patient alleviate a bit the symptom?

Yes, can work: A person who has schizophrenia can work. The job and type of work may have to change, but the person can still do meaningful work as long as the symptoms are controlled with medication. With proper medication prescribed by a psychiatrist, symptoms won't necessarily get worse over time. Prayer can be helpful for any medical condition.
