Could be melanoma: Any black spots which are changing or growing in size needs to be evaluated by a dermatologist. But I am hopeful this is just some other type of skin condition. They are the experts - let them decide.

Probable skin issue: Your should have your doctor check just to make sure it is limited only to the skin, but you may well have nevi (moles which are usually benign) or some other skin lesion.
