? phlebitis or lymph: Redness along the arm in a long streak pattern can be related to phlebitis-inflammation of the vein and/or lymphangitis-inflammation of the lymph vessels due to bacterial infection. This needs physician review. Can be a big problem with need for antibiotic therapy.
