You can't: The most unshakable misconception about sexuality is that people choose to be gay or straight yet people who suffer this misconception are presumably straight and cannot tell you when they chose to be straight because they didn't. Your son was born gay and will always be gay. Your discomfort with that is the only malady here and you need to explore why you believe there is a problem.
