Several causes: Sinusitis is a good possibility. If you have no nasal congestion, which is usually found with sinusitis, other causes such as migraines, dental problems, and conditions affecting the membrane surrounding the brain, need to be considered.

Many things.: Often the pain in the rear of the eye is actually from the front of the eye. It is called a referred pain. Most common causes are "dry eyes" and "uveitis". The tratment for dry eye is simple, using artificial tears. The treatment for uveitis requires prescription medication thus will need a proper evaluation by an ophthalmologist.
