Possible Pink eye: If it is has been occurring for a while it may be blepharoconjunctivitis. Classic pink eye is viral in origin and contagious. You should see you eye md to diagnosis and treat.

Probably: If both you and your boyfriend are experiencing similar symptoms with discomfort and discharge you probably have an eye infection. You both should have your eyes examined. Std's can sometimes present with eye involvement.
