Valproate: This medication is an antiseizure drug with significant potential toxicities, among which are headaches. Would have a serious discussion with your doctor about the diagnosis and the rationale for this therapy. You may be unaware of what they are thinking. If the doctor is not a neurologist you may want to ask for consultative referral.
