Cabergoline (dostinex) is used to lower prolactin levels with less intolerance than bromergocryptine. High prolactin can occur from several causes, with infertility, visual problems potential effects. Nausea and headaches may be symptoms secondary to the cause of the high prolactin, and with continued use, may lessen or disappear.
