May be side effects: Fatigue is a common side effect with BP meds, but then, fatigue is common - period. If you are very certain the body aches started after you began taking your cholesterol meds, see your doctor. There are blood tests you can take (aldolase, creatine kinase) to see if the two are related. If you have dark urine, e.g., like cola, it is critical to see your doctor asap.

Probably statins: Muscle aching is a common side-effect of statins, the major meds used to treat elevated lipids. Discuss this with you doctor. Your doctor should check muscle enzymes (CPK) and stop the statin to see if the aching resolves.
