Medical assessment: If you are drinking more than 1 drink daily for a woman or 2 for a man you putting our liver and general health at risk. Some symptoms of advanced liver disease may be jaundice, fatigue, swelling of the abdomen, pain in the right upper part of the abdomen but you need to get proper medical assessment by way of blood tests and imaging. Consult with your doctor.

Blood tests: Ask your dr to check your liver function tests (lfts) to see how your liver is doing. If you wait for physical signs to appear (jaundice, itching, cognitive decline, etc.), then the liver disease is far advanced.
