Maybe not the water: People with migraine do get "brain freeze" when they ingest cold items, and i would imagine that you prefer your water cold. The volume of cold liquid may well trigger your migraines. Best to handle with preventative approach, and suggest trying otc approach such as riboflavin, coq-10, butterbur, feverfew.
