To some extent?: As a dentist, I have also heard the claims, and personally have not had any patients use them or been able to evaluate them on my own. However, from what i would guess, they most likely have many limitations and when you think about the time and money you would have to spend on a relatively new product without dentist supervision, i question whether or not it is worth taking that chance.

Yes but not well: Depending on the concentration of carbamide peroxide (or hydrogen peroxide, ) these products will work. But you may find that repetetive purchases need to be made to achieve more desirable results. Controlled whitening in a dental office will always deliver results. Contact your dentist!

Marginally: Depends on the concentration of the gel and freshness. At least better than whitening strips.

Depends: Whitening pens are designed for touch-ups, ... For example, after a dinner party, you're going to get some photos, that would be better the indication, for best results going to the dentist to get professional whitening options and/or custom trays is the way to do it.

YES!!!: Teeth whitening pens work, but those products are designed more maintenance purpose then for " whitening". I mean that if you have not had your teeth cleaned for ten years... And , all of a sudden, you buy this whitening pen and plan to use as " miracle wand" .... It may not work , sorry. On the other hand, you you regularly visit your dentist and have your teeth cleaned, and/or whitened, then ok.

Yes: Whitening products, including whitening pens, contain the active ingredient to whiten your teeth. However, to get best results the gel needs to remain on your teeth for minimum of 30 minutes to have the whitening effect. After applying the gel with the pen, one has to place protective guard that comes with the kit. Better to have a dentist make a custom tray that is more comfortable.

Whitening pens work!: Here's how! take a tissue then wipe you upper front teeth dry. Immediately paint on the whitener with the brush on the target teeth. Do the same for the lower. Don't sip drink eat for 30 minutes. It really works. But if you cheat, it dont. Takes about 21 days, using it twice a day. Compliance is everything. Best. Dr. Bobby d.

On long run: They have very little concentration of the whitening agent, it takes about two to three weeks and a lot of dedication to see results. If you are looking for a fast result seek another option.. Good luck.
