A member asked:

Do teeth whitening and spot products actually work? if so, which ones?

Yes, they do.: Pretty much all teeth whitening products on the market will whiten your teeth. The over-the-counter systems use a weaker strength whitening chemical than the ones available from your dentist. I recommend you have your teeth professionally whitened by a dentist, as any untoward complications can be handled quickly and safely.

The Best Option: Most of the products work at some level... The home products if overused can cause issues. Please see only a dentist for bleaching and refrain from the current trend of whitening in a spa or mall or beauty salon. Bleaching teeth is best managed by an experienced dentist with your dental & gum health as the main focus of their attention! it is your safest and most effective choice.

Yes!: Most teeth whitening products work. Stronger prescription products work better and faster; they also increase the risk of gum pain or tooth sensitivity. Whitening is best managed in a professional setting: i recommend you speak with your dentist. It's likely they have an insider deal for "regulars" which you should be assuming oral health is important to you ;-).
