Classical migraine: The above migraine variant is associated with auras which can cause visual, sensory, and speech issues, and even focal weakness. You can discuss whether a scan is of value, but usually not helpful. Talk to your doctor.

An MRI better: If we want to look for a bleed or a fracture, we would do an xray or a bunch of xrays, and connect them to a computer (ct scan). But if we want to look at soft tissue like the brain, an MRI is better.
