What causes endomitriosis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

There are 2 theories: Retrograde menstruation, menses material exiting tubes. The other has to do with the migration of the cells that make up your female organs getting left behind during migration when u were little fetus. So embryologic migration thoery. May be some of both, however but treatment is birth control as first line.
