I have a pinched nerve in my lower back which causes numbness in my thigh. when i walk or stand still, middle 2 toes go numb. are they related?

Maybe: Depending on what area of your thigh gets numb, the two areas could be related. The L5 nerve root passes the l4-5 disc level and leaves the spine through the l5-s1 foramen. After it leaves the spine, the nerve goes down the outside of thigh and calf to the top of the foot and into the toes.
