It can be: If this has been your norm for a number of years, it may very well be normal. If this is new for you, it may not be. If its new you could have some issues with ovulation, abnormal thyroid levels, hyperprolactinemia or even pregnancy. However, some women are lucky enough to have very light very short periods.

Not normal: Irregular periods are one of the most common problems obgyns treat. If this is one time problem it usually resolves on its own. If this is a recurring problem you should be evaluated. Infections ; hormonal changes can cause spotting. If there is a concern for pregnancy then do a home pregnancy test . There are many options available to help regulate the menstrual cycle. Is it normal to miss a menstrual period after a hgs test?

Yes: It can be normal to miss a period after an hsg test. Depending on where you were at in your cycle when you had the hsg, in addition what were the reasons you were having the hsg? Often women's fertility is increased after getting an hsg, so keep that in mind in case you are trying to get pregnant, or trying to avoid getting pregnant. Hope that helps!

Is this a pattern?: Women's vaginal discharge changes through out their cycle. Leukorrhea - which is normal vaginal mucus can change in consistency and amount at various times in the cycle. If there is a bad odor, pain or itching - that could be an infection.
