Have not heard: I have not heard or read anything in the literature about this. We know that taping, silicone sheeting and Mederma are useful for improving scars.

Try Scar Fade: I recommend this product to my patients. I don't have a financial interest in this company, for the record. www.scarfade.com consider a consultation with a (facial) plastic surgeon as there are other therapies available for an unsightly scar.

No: Never heard of this. It probably won't hurt. Most likely any improvement seen would be due to time which often improves the appearance of a scar and not vinegar and epsom saly.

Scar treatment: This is not a common nor is it a widely recommended treatment for scars. Occlusive silicone gel sheeting and pressure offer the most consistent results for scar therapy.

No: Neither of these are particularly helpful. Vigorous massage with cocoa butter or mederma, silicone gel sheeting (cicacare), and sun protection are the best home remedies.
