Hard to ignore: With your mother's diagnosis of ms, it would be hard to ignore any unusual sensations. Symptoms we commonly associate with ms include pins and needles sensations, "electrical" jolts of pain, double vision in one eye, extreme fatigue, lack of coordination. But these are symptoms that occur from other causes, too. You may want to talk with your doctor or an ms specialist, given your mother's history.

Comments: Your localized arm symptoms could well be very nonspecific or due to a focal irritation or even nerve compression. The risk from your Mother's MS is likely about 2-4%. Maybe, some testing such as an EMG, may be in order.
