Itchiness is a very nonspecific symptom. Skin anywhere can be itchy due to dryness, irritation, infection or insect bites. The breast is no exception. Itchiness alone in the breast is rarely anything significant. Other symptoms to look for are lumps, redness, swelling, discharge or rash.
