A member asked:

I have experienced severe pms after ovulation for four days. the 5th and 6th day after ovulation i did not experience pms. is this normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not Uncommon: Estrogen levels peak at ovulation and then begin to fall. Progesterone levels rise post ovulation and then fall immediately before menstruation. These hormones come from your ovary. Both mood and physical symptoms are affected by the cyclic changes of these hormones.
