Healing may itch: You didn't say why you had the local. If it was to remove a mole or for some other minor surgery, you probably have a small incision that is healing. It is not uncommon for wounds to itch as they heal - especially if you have stitches.

Local: 6 weeks ago you got the shot - this is probably not related. Given that it is not red etc.. Did you have band aid on it ?Could be some left over adhesive.
