ENT or Peds evaluate: Does your baby have an enlarged tongue, a small jaw, large tonsils or adenoids, nasal blockage (choanal atresia, chronic congestion)? I can't give you specific guidelines without examining your child. The tests we order are based upon the examination, which helps us to develop a differential diagnosis-which is an educated guess, so to speak, of what might have caused the symptom.
