Foam vs drool????: Most individiuals continue to produce saliva even while sleeping which keeps the mouth moist and is usually swallowed except if mouth breathing or if facial musculature is very relaxed while sleeping. Depending on the viscosity of the saliva, it could appear to be foamy.
