Depends: Surgical aortic valve replacement is the treatment of choice for most aortic valve replacement indications. Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (non surgical) is an option for some patients at moderate to high risk for surgery with aortic stenosis.
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.
