A member asked:

Epinewton is used by divers for sea sickness, what dosage should i use and how long before a dive?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unproven: There are many drugs reported to work for motion sickness. Most work a little bit but have significant side effects including drowsiness, etc. Epanautin (phenytoin) is an anti-eplepsy medication which can make you sleepy. There are no controlled studies, to my knowledge, showing that it works. You need to be careful about taking medication when diving as side effects can be confused with the bends.
