With treatment: And regular follow-up, you have an excellent prognosis. In most cases, glaucoma can be greatly slowed and even stopped. Unfortunately it cannot be cured.

Prognosis: Glaucoma: If you are compliant with drop instructions and get a good pressure reduction on the drops, there is a good chance that you will be fine. Because we have many very good medications to treat glaucoma, it is unlikely that you will lose vision. This assumes that you are very meticulous about getting your eye drops.
