Can't really get RID: Of scars, but you can reduce their noticibility. Use a cream called Mederma to reduce the appearance of scars.

Yes and no: He will always have a scar. Grafting even of his own skin, will still leave a scar because of the healing process. Silastic sheets help as previously mentioned. Other techniques which i feel are better include pulse dye laser therapy or cold laser therapy. They stimulate cell turnover and actually cause the scar to heal itself in a sense.
