Possibly: There are many documented and well-researched cases of systemic (full body) diseases that are caused or worsened by poor oral hygiene. Two are diabetes & heart disease. We don't fully understand which causes or worsen which but it is agreed they need to be treated together for optimal health. Bacterial pneumonia could be caused by the bacteria in the mouth not being removed by proper cleaning.

Probably not: However, studies increasingly show that general health is affected by oral health. Poor oral health can influence your general health, wear down your resistance to other health problems.

Doubtful: But possible. Not brushing your teeth can lead to increased bacterial load in your mouth.
