Do these: Have parents with no family histories of cancer (have good genes). Do not smoke tobacco or anything else. Consume very little meat, if any at all. Exercise and watch your diet to stay fit and trim. Do not drink alcohol to excess or use illegal drugs. Vaccinate yourself against hepatitis and hpv. See your doctor regularly for recommended cancer screenings. Be very lucky!

Million dollar ?: Cancers are multi factorial. Healthy diet, exercise, proper rest, avoiding stress, vitamin supplements, healthy environment, preventative check ups, annual physicals, are all important. Genetics are also a strong influence.

Healthy lifestyle : Sorry, you can't completely avoid cancer, but ACS data suggest that 50-60% of cancer deaths can be prevented by not using tobacco products (of any kind), eating well, exercising, and overall living a healthy lifestyle. Also, make sure you get the screening tests appropriate for your age and risk. Talk to your doc about this. I wish you a long, healthy life.
