Get checked out ...: Don't wait! your doctor should be able to refer you to a fertility specialist who can check your ovarian reserve (egg numbers and quality) and the extent of any damage to your tubes or scarring around your tubes and ovaries. It sounds like you've already had surgery. A fertility doctor (reproductive endocrinology and infertility specialist in the us) can advise you about ivf versus other options.
