Low degree of concer: Most common cause of such benign cysts are functional cysts that are very common in reproductive age females. Unless, presenting with symptoms (pain, nausea, vomiting, fever etc), your physician may opt to follow them with a repeat us in 3-6 months. Unless you have strong family hx of cancer, or personal hx of cancer, there is a low level of suspicion for ovarian cancer.
